I am replacing the clutch on my Massey Ferguson 1040 compact and did a dumb trick so need help. I removed the 2 stage clutch pack and because of problems finding parts I sent the tranmission disc away to be refurbished, the problem is I did not pay attention to which side of the disc faced front towards the engine when I removed the disc ( I own a Chevrolet dealership and can work on street rods, my first attempt at replacing a clutch on a tractor ) one side of the clutch disc has a plate that protrudes out farther, and the other side is pretty flat, can anyone help me on what side faces front and what side faces back towards the pressure plate and power take off clutch pack? any help would be greatly appreciated.

According to the service manual the inner disc has the long portion of the hub toward the flywheel and the outer disc has the long part of the hub to the transmission. ....
